Catalonia Fire Fighter Calendar 2009

The Catalonia (Spainish) Fire fighters put a calendar together in 2007 to raise funds for their fire fighters to attend the 2007 World Police and Fire fighter games (WPFG) held in my home town Adelaide.

This year they have returned with another calendar to raise funds for the 2009 WPFG to be held in Vancouver British Columbia. With over 10,000 athletes it is the 3rd largest sporting event behind the Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games.

Fitness Model James Ellis Releases 2009 Calendar

Fitness Model James Ellis in cooperation with several major sponsors releases 2009 fitness calendar in an effort to help promote his favorite non-profit organization, The Humane Society.

"I've always wanted to do something that will give back to the community and I'm glad I get the chance to do it this year through my calendar," said James Ellis. He plans on donating a portion of the revenue to his local Humane Society.

Noel Daganta, a Los Angeles based photographer/video producer was chosen to shoot the images and behind-the-scene promotional videos of the calendar.

James has modeled for several companies such as Ford, Andrew Christian, Rufskin, Timoteo and Mini Cooper. He has also been featured in countless fitness magazines all over the world such as Muscle and Fitness, Exercise for Men and Men's Health.

Gods of Football Winners announced!

The winners of the 2008 Sexiest Man in League and Sexiest Man in Aussie Rules competitions have now been announced!

Congratulations go to Manly Sea Eagles', Matt Ballin [above] for Rugby League and Essendon's Andrew Welsh [below] for Aussie Rules.

These two lucky guys will now have the honor of appearing on the cover of the rugby league and Aussie Rules versions of the Gods of Football fund raising calendar due to hit the streets on 15th October.

Firefighter Calender in Bilbao

Here is already acclaimed edition-Firefighter Calendar for 2009 in Bilbao. The title  is "Guardian", it reflects those firefighters, who face off in an atmosphere of chaos and destruction in an imaginary city of Bilbao.

With emblematic buildings in Bilbao each of the 12 firefighters who appear on the calendar are in a fictional situation and extreme situations right in the heart of the city. These "Guardians" focus on the issues resulting from climate change.

David Beckham released his own calendar, so not to be outdone, Cristiano Ronaldo came out with his own calendar as well.

There is not many things David Beckham has not got his name on, so when I heard he was doing a calendar for 2009 I was not surprised.

What is disappointing is that David looks better in the Armarni Underwear photograph's. This is one calendar I will not be rushing to buy!

Skilehrerinnen Kalender 2009 features Parallel ski exhibitionists from 10 countries showed that off piste they also have a lot to offer. The “best-of”, the fifth edition of the famous ski instructor calendar is strictly limited and already a rarity.

The amateur models were photographed by the two star photographers Chris Thomson and Christian Holznkecht in a perfect scene.

The calendar was initiated by the Austrians Gerhard Lucian and Thomas Ebster.
