Rapido - Amsterdam Queens Birthday Long wekend (May)

I realize this was over a month ago but the last leg of our World Domination Tour was Amsterdam's Queens Birthday long weekend. We were there for the much anticipated Rapido Parties.

We arrived on the Thursday Night, the streets were being closed for the biggest party I have ever seen, celebrating the  Queen of Holland's Birthday is  off the scale compared to New Years Eve  celebrations  in  Sydney.

Hundreds of thousands of party goers converge into Amsterdam for 2 days and nights of dancing and drinking in the streets.

Thursday night we ventured out with plans of going to a dance party but quickly realized there was no need to go to a club, it seamed almost every corner had an outside bar and DJ playing music.

We entered the street where the gay clubs were and was confronted by the massive towers and lighting rigs spanning the entire length of the street.... no need to go anywhere this was going off!

Go Go Boys on podiums, beautiful boys to men dancing with shirts off, excellent lighting and well placed speakers ensured we had a great time!

Friday Night we attended REFLEX with well acclaimed International DJ Tony Moran, and although the venue was a little small the crowd was going off literally.

Sunday Night we attended Rapido Main Party, and OMG you could not fit any more people in that venue, it was so crowded and hot downstairs we decided not to leave the upper levels.

 

Two of hottest brothers from LA were in attendance, Jeremy and little brother Ricky.

Frisky Returns to the METRO Sydney

Last night my boy and I went to Frisky in Sydney's Metro theater with 1200 other boys!

What a fantastic night, great happy music with spectacular lighting and a very sexual stage show!

Last night was the return of Frisky after an absence of a number of years.

A big thank you to the organizers for bringing happiness back into dance parties in Sydney!

With TOYBOX now only an annual event Frisky has brought back what we gay boys have missed for a long time!

Sydney SleazeBall

Last night my partner and I went to Sleazeball at Fox Studio's in Sydney.

The night was interesting, the music went from House to Dance to Trance to very dark tribal!

This year their was only the one venue, which I hope they address next year, tribal music should be in the dome only.

Having spoken to many people who went also, they too were disappointed with the music also, I understand they have to cater for many different tastes in music but when you are paying $100 plus to have about 3 hours of music that you like then you have to ask yourself if it is worth it!

Sydney SleazeBall SOLD OUT!

Tonight my Partner and I are going to SleazeBall at Sydney's Fox Studio's with 5 and a half thousand other party boys.

SleazeBall the Villain's Lair promises to deliver hot boys in hot outfits! Sleazeball is the 2nd largest GLBT in Sydney behind Mardi Gras, although the best Gay party in this country is TOYBOX!

After recovering we're off to Frisky to complete this Party Long Weekend!

Spanish Circuit Party

Large circuit parties are usually associated with North America, but not any more. For one week at the beginning of last month, the Spanish superclub Matinee held its first annual Circuit Festival.

From Monday 4th August till Monday 11th August there were special parties and daytime events all week.

The most unique event, was the first ever gay day at Illa Fantasia Water Park. The whole water park was closed to the public and turned into a gay wonderland of speedo clad party boys.

The main stage was set over the main pool with DJ’s J.Louis, Iordee and Taito Tikaro spinning the tunes.

The main event was on the Saturday with a massive Matinee party at the Olympic Basketball Stadium (Pabellon Olimpico de Badalona). DJ’s Peter Rauhofer, David Penn and Toni Bass; Live Acts by Ultra Nate, Coco Star and Luca G.

All this along with gogo boys dressed in American Football gear!

Frisky Returns to the METRO Sydney

Frisky is back,Held at the Metro Theatre. People flocked to a room filled with happiness and freedom.

The Sydney morning Herald, picked it as ‘the highlight of the clubbing year’ Circuit Noise ( USA) dubbed it ‘A Sydney phenomenon’.

One of the most original and unique parties ever staged, the legacy of Frisky has lived on in the party scene of with those who followed its essence.

Frisky is coming home, the crew have reunited once again to take you on the journey. So many of you have such amazing memories, so many more have heard of the legendary Frisky, let the euphoria begin…..

Pre-sale tickets sold out, This morning I managed to get 6 of the 14 ticket allocation from Metro George St, tickets still available at Bang Clothing (Syd/Melb) and Bayswater Gym. This Party will sell out today!

Sleaze Ball 2008

This years Sleaze Ball by New Mardi Gras is just over two months away, the theme is "Villains Lair"

Recognising that it’s the bad boys who have the most fun, thousands of evil geniuses, scoundrels, deviants and monstrous freaks of nature will on 4th October come together for Sleaze Ball 2008.
